Former Ogun State governor, Olusegun Osoba, has appealed to Nigerians to forgive President Bola Tinubu’s shortcomings.
Osoba assured that Tinubu would perform during his second tenure in office.
He spoke during the All Progressives Congress, APC, South West Zone Assembly meeting in Lagos.
The former governor declared that Yorubas are behind Tinubu’s presidency, adding that they believe in his confidence to deliver on his promises.
Osoba also disclosed that Nigerians made Tinubu president.
According to Osoba: “Now that Tinubu is there, I want to plead with all of you to accept his shortcomings. He will do better. After his first four-year term, he will serve another four years as a Yoruba son.
“The South West Assembly’s message is clear – the Yoruba leadership stands united behind Tinubu’s presidency and remains confident in his ability to deliver on his promises during his tenure.
“Bola didn’t make himself the President of Nigeria; we did.”
