Pregnant Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby was upstairs with her two-year-old daughter as armed thieves broke into her luxury home, leaving her boyfriend to chase them away from the property
Thieves raided Charlotte Crosby’s home while she lay upstairs with her daughter. The Geordie Shore star, who is currently eight months pregnant, was in the home with her two-year-old Alba.
A gang of masked raiders entered their home, Charlotte’s finance Jake Ankers said. Opening up on the terrifying moment on Instagram, he said: “I can’t believe I’m saying this but some little c***s have tried to rob my house with my two-year-old and my partner who is nearly eight months pregnant, armed with a machete.”
He added that he chased the four robbers out of the house but wasn’t able to catch them, the Mirror reports. Jake said: “One of them who was in the house at the top of the stairs had a red balaclava on. He is the one that had the machete. Me little girl’s in the house. Me partner’s in the house.”
The 33-year-old urged his Instagram followers to share any information with him. Charlotte and Jake moved into their home together in 2021. They renovated the lavish property, which was said to be worth in excess of £1million. Back in September, the pair announced they are expecting their second child.
Alongside sharing the news of the pregnancy, Charlotte announced a new collection for her fashion brand Pepper Girls Club. She wrote in her post: “In my babies and business ERA. Delighted to announce baby Ankers number 2 is due January 2025 and also delighted to announce @peppergirlsclub AW collection is live now RIGHT NOW!!!!”
She added: “I really wanted to combine these 2 moments as everything I’ve been building with Pepper over the last few years is for my family and I’m so proud of it!! We are so excited to be a family of 4!” A month later, the couple announced they are set to welcome a baby girl.
Taking to Instagram while on holiday in the Maldives, Jake shared a video as they held up a cake and cut into it – which showed pink inside. He joked online: “Ahhh s**t, here we go again!” While Charlotte commented: “Possibly the best photo I’ve ever seen here we go babbbbyyyyyyyyyy. GIRL MOM.”
The couple got engaged last November, a year after welcoming their first bundle of joy. In an exclusive chat with the Mirror, the TV star insisted she was going to have a baby boy. She told us: “I’ve had a boy vibe from the beginning. I just woke up one day and thought, ‘I’m having a boy.’ I can’t wait to have this baby – and now I’m at 21 weeks, I can finally talk about it!”
She added: “If I do have a boy, I’m going to be so excited to see Jake’s reaction because he would absolutely love to have a boy. He has wished for this all of his life – he would just want a little boy to be able to take to football and do all of the boy things with. So if we have a boy, I’d be so happy for Jake.”
Charlotte couldn’t believe she was going to have a baby girl as she admitted: “I swear it was a boy. Oh my god, oh Jake I can’t believe it.” Jake replied: “It’s fine!”, as he consoled his wife. Charlotte continued: “But I actually really wanted a boy as well. What, how?”
