Right now, we’re looking for a young and energetic Technical Manager to join our Nigeria office. These job will start as a work-from-home position before moving to the office later on.
Main Responsibilities:
- Organizing and overseeing the maintenance and operation of office premises.
- Conducting equipment, furniture, and other asset inventory in the office, and ensuring all assets are listed on the company’s balance sheet.
- Maintaining up-to-date information on inventory availability and condition.
- Assessing the current state of inventory and providing recommendations for its renewal and replacement.
- Conducting regular and planned technical maintenance of the office, engineering systems, and equipment.
- Supervising maintenance staff (technical specialists and others).
- Interacting with suppliers and ensuring the quality of services provided.
- Adhering to fire safety rules.
- Compiling reports on the condition of office operations and work performed.
- Monitoring and optimizing costs for office premises maintenance.
- Actively participating in rental matters and launching new office spaces.
Specific Experience:
- Knowledge of basic engineering communications, air conditioning, and ventilation.
- Ability to work with technical documentation.
- Responsibility, organization, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of fire safety rules.
- Excellent personal organization/time management skills, including task prioritization;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to solve problems and trivial issues.
Control and Reporting:
- Directly reports to the Senior Technical Manager.
- Weekly reporting on work performed and expenses incurred.
