Barry was the first up on karaoke in the Jungle Arms
Barry McGuigan has surprised fans with an unexpected talent on I’m a Celebrity. The campmates headed down to the Jungle Arms to drink, sing and eat after earning their spots with a group challenge.
All nine contestants made it through and first up to perform on the karaoke machine was former professional boxer Barry. The 63-year-old sang Van Morrison’s Brown Eyed Girl and viewers were blown away.
One surprised fan said on X: “One thing about the jungle arms it always makes you realise the least obvious one can sing, Barry I love you man” another added “who knew Barry McGuigan could sing so well #imaceleb”

Other contestants got up on the mic to sing including Love Island star Maura Higgins and professional dancer Oti Mabuse but the comments continued flooding in for Barry’s performance. One fan went as far as to say: “When they leave the jungle Barry and Danny need to release a single together.” Another fan had the same idea, adding “Can Danny and Barry release a song please? Thanks. #ImACeleb”
Coleen took to the Bush Telegraph to tell viewers it was a night to “remember” and how good it was for the camp to be able to let their hair down. As the camp get to experience a more fun jungle experience as the series comes to an end, it means the camp becomes smaller.
The fourth contestant to be voted off I’m a Celebrity was DJ and TV presenter Melvin Odoom. After losing the public vote he told the rest of the camp “it’s good” and it is time to “celebrate” before hugging the campmates goodbye.
He asked Ant and Dec if he was the happiest person to leave as he joined them in the studio to watch his highlights. He took on many challenged including ‘Freight Bus’ and Friday’s ‘Tanks of Terror’ which saw him win a full house of 12 from 12 stars.
