The social media star was filmed cheering on Paddy the Baddy last weekend
StillRyan has been supported as he made an apology to his followers. Ryan Hall, from Croxteth, has been creating content on a range of social channels for a number of years as part of his ‘Still Gang’ brand with an emphasis on positivity.
Ryan often goes up to people on the streets of Merseyside asking them questions about viral crazes, football or simply how their day is going. However, last weekend saw a departure from this as he attended UFC 304 at the AO Arena in Manchester.
Ryan was cheering on fellow Scousers Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett and ‘Meatball’ Molly McCann. Paddy defeated his opponent King Green in the first round of his fight. However, Molly lost on points to Bruna Brasil.

Ryan was invited down to the event to create content for the UFC. As part of this, his jubilant reaction to Paddy’s victory was filmed and posted on his social media channels at 5am on Sunday, 28 July, shortly after Paddy’s fight finished. Ryan received some criticism for this. One said his reactions were ‘cringeworthy and fake’ while another said he was ‘unbearable’.
At 12.20pm, Ryan said he was surprised at the negative reaction to his video. He posted on X/Twitter: “Crazy the amount of s*** I’ve woke up to man. I’m a bloody 21 year-old kid who’s from Croxteth and have been given the chance to work for the UFC and people are calling me out on filming reactions. I’m squeezing every opportunity I can as I’ve worked everyday for it. Maybe I should have expected it but I just really am shocked. I don’t know, it is what it is really.”
Later that evening, Ryan argued he had overreacted after being sleep deprived. Stressing that he wants to spread positivity, he said: “I’ve reflected on this. I woke up from 24 hours awake with four hours kip and the first thing I saw was the negatives. But after a day of evaluating on half a tank, I am all good.
“The positives outweigh it all. It was my fault for bringing it to everyone’s attention but now I’m going to close it so we can carry on smashing it, trying to make people’s day.”
Many of his fans backed this message in the replies. Les Boyce said: “Good on you, keep doing what you want to do and ignore others.”
Megan Wyatt said: “I loved seeing your reaction to Paddy’s win. It was genuine pure joy which is rare to see these days.” Bill added: “Haters gonna hate etc be useful and keep moving forward. We love you and your content. Always brings a smile.”
The Street End said: “Carry on doing what you do best mate. People are going to hate regardless, but you’re smashing it. Your family and friends love you and are proud of you!”
Molly McCann broke her silence yesterday after her defeat. She has told fans that she is taking a break from the sport and social media.
Molly shared a picture of her enjoying a drink after the match and smiling with her opponent. In the accompanying caption she said: “Last night was Bruna’s night! Massive congratulations to her. I wasn’t able to recover after that knee the firm.
“We live to fight another day. I’m gonna be taking a bit of time off for my mental and physical state. Much love the firm!”
