Step-by-step Guide, And Conditions For Nigerians to Obtain UAE Visa

The Federal Government recently announced lifting visa restrictions imposed on Nigerians by the Government of the United Arab Emirates.

In a chat with State House correspondents on Monday, July 15, 2024, after the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Bola Tinubu, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, disclosed that an agreement had been reached.

“I can tell you that the agreement has been reached and effective from today, Nigerian passport holders intending to travel to the UAE are able to do so,” Idris said.

About two years ago, the UAE imposed a visa ban on Nigeria due to various diplomatic disputes.

Additionally, Dubai’s Emirates Airline halted flights to Nigeria because the Central Bank of Nigeria couldn’t remit an estimated $85 million in revenue to the UAE.

Owing to the recent development, the minister asked Nigerians seeking information on the updated UAE visa conditions to visit documentverificationhub.ae for further details.

In this piece, PUNCH Online highlights the step-by-step guide for Nigerians to obtain the UAE visa:
