It was revealed that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will use bigger batteries than the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The upcoming foldable phone will be powered by a total battery capacity of 4,000mAh (advertised) as opposed to a 3,700mAh power source inside the Galaxy Z Flip 5. That amounts to around 8% higher battery capacity, and combined with a more power-efficient processor, the phone should offer longer battery life. It is rumored that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will also come with a bigger battery, owing to a wider body, but its battery capacity hasn’t been revealed yet.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 are expected to feature sleeker frames and a less noticeable screen crease. Both smartphones will likely come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor. It is rumored that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a screen with a relatively square aspect ratio compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, which means it might have a form factor that is similar to foldable phones from other brands (like OnePlus). That will make the cover display wider, bringing it closer to the screen aspect ratio of a conventional bar-style smartphone.
It has already been revealed that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a 10MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary rear camera, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a 50MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera, and a 10MP selfie camera.
