This update includes the February 2024 security patch, which brings fixes for 72 security flaws found in the previous software version. It is a minor update with a download size of around 400MB.
If you have a Galaxy S23 series smartphone and if you live in the US, you can now check for the new update on your device. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You can also download the appropriate firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 series early last year with Android 13 onboard. They received the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update three months ago, and the devices are expected to get some of the AI-powered features from the Galaxy S24 series with the One UI 6.1 update. That update will likely arrive in the next couple of months.
