Samsung Galaxy F14 Launched in India With Snapdragon 680 Chip

Samsung has launched a new entry-level smartphone, the Galaxy F14, in India. It is a slightly modified version of the Galaxy F14 5G and features a Snapdragon chipset instead of Exynos and a smaller battery than its 5G sibling.

The phone was first spotted last year, and Samsung launched it after taking a lot of time.

Galaxy F14 is among Samsung’s cheapest phones in India

The Galaxy F14 is priced at INR 8,999 (~$107) in India, making it among the cheapest phones from Samsung. It will be available through Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung Store, and select brick-and-mortar stores across India.

It will be available in two colors: Moonlight Silver and Peppermint.

Galaxy F14 specifications

The Galaxy F14 has a 6.7-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen has a waterdrop-shaped notch at the top to accommodate the front-facing camera. Samsung should completely switch to punch-hole-shaped cutouts (Infinity-O) for the selfie camera on all its phones now.

The device has a Snapdragon 680 processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage. It has a microSD card slot for storage expansion. It runs Android 14-based One UI 6.1 software out of the box. However, Samsung has disappointed us by pledging with just two major Android OS updates for the Galaxy F14. So, it will top out at Android 16.

The Galaxy F14 has a 13MP selfie camera. At the rear, it has a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary rear camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. The front and rear cameras can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

A 5,000mAh battery powers the Galaxy F14. It supports 25W fast charging, but no charger is in the box. The phone has GPS, a dual-SIM card slot (4G + 4G), Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, a USB 2.0 Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
