The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Monday accused the All Progressives Congress, APC, of mounting pressure to have 25 percent votes in the country.
Dele Momodu, the spokesman of PDP Presidential Campaign Council, said APC was trying to manipulate election results in Lagos and the Southeast.
Addressing a press conference in Abuja, Momodu insisted that the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar was in a clear lead in Saturday’s election.
According to Momodu: “From collated results, PDP is leading, our main rival is mounting pressure to have their way in Imo by having 25 percent in 24 states.
“We have it on good ground that the APC is trying to shore-off votes in Lagos; we urged INEC to resist this measure especially in Lagos Central Senatorial District where PDP is leading.
“We urge INEC to put enough surveillance in Lagos, APC is doing within its means to cheat in Lagos. We are doing well in the Northeast, North Central, in the South South and not too well in the Southeast.”
