Police recruitment: AIG warns against scammers

Candidates from Akwa Ibom and Cross River States who were successful in the just concluded Computer-Based Test (CBT) for recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force have been advised to beware of fraudsters.

The successful candidates have been invited to report for the Medical Screening Exercise billed to hold from 16th to 30th April, 2024 at Zone 6 Police Clinic Calabar.

In a statement, signed by SP Nelson Okpabi, the zonal PRO, the Assistant Inspector General of Police for zone six, Jonathan Towuru warned them to avoid falling prey to swindlers who might take advantage of the exercise to defraud unsuspecting applicants.

He assured them that the screening exercise is free of charge and will be conducted in a transparent and professional manner, cautioning them not to succumb to any pressures.

The AIG advised those that participated in the recruitment screening CBT and Specialists to check their application statuses before proceeding to Calabar.
