OAKLAND — A Bay Area man has been arrested and charged with starting an OnlyFans account that featured child sexual abuse material, court records show.
Kevin Jimenez, 24, was charged Monday with one count of sexual exploitation of a child of possessing child pornography, both felonies. He has been released from jail with bail conditions that include submitting to any police search of his electronic devices or property, and an explicit order to not possess any child pornography, records show.
Jimenez came under investigation last May, when Oakland police received a tip about child sexual abuse material on OnlyFans, a subscription-based adult content website. Investigators looked into it, and discovered Jimenez allegedly set up the account under the pseudonym “Kevin Jackson” and a fake date of birth, authorities said.
The videos he allegedly posted included one of a prepubescent girl who was tied up and raped, according to court records. Police say they were able to identify Jimenez as the creator of the account due to the IP address and other digital evidence. Jimenez was arrested on Sept. 5, four days before the charges were filed, records show.
Jimenez entered a not guilty plea at his Sept. 9 arraignment, court records show.
