Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side Doma United players and officials have been involved in a ghastly car accident.
The Gombe based side had the accident along Makurdi-Lafia Expressway on Monday morning while returning to their base in Gombe from Imo State.
Roma United it could be recalled lost 3-1 to 10-man Heartland FC of Owerri in one of the matchday 35 matches held at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Sunday
According sources, the club’s bus lost control and somersaulted several times. However, no live was lost but some of the players sustained varying degrees of injuries and were rushed to a hospital.
Doma United, one of the few privately owned clubs in the league, are battling to retain their league status next season as they are currently 18th on the table with 43 points from 35 matches.
