The minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, remains resolute in his backing of Bola Tinubu’s presidential bid, expressing no regrets despite criticism.
Wike, a key figure in the Peoples Democratic Party, openly supported Tinubu from the rival All Progressives Congress during the 2023 election, a move that resulted in the APC winning the oil-rich state for the first time.
According to Channels TV, during a visit to APC’s Zonal Vice President Victor Giadom in his hometown of Gokana, Rivers State, Wike reaffirmed his support, stating, “I stand for it. I have no regret at all, and that is why I will continue to support the government of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.”
Addressing politicians at the event on Saturday, Wike urged them to focus on making a tangible impact and to disregard social media attacks
