The Chairman of the 2024 edition of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) events and conference committee, Nana Milagrosa Biyang, has said the organisation of this year’s event for the committee was quite challenging.
She, however, stated that the rewards for the committee were the responses from members, which reflected the collective enthusiasm and commitment within the institute.
Biyang, who is also the founder and Chief Experience Curator of MPXM Agency, added that the robust turnout and active participation at the event underscored the relevance and importance of the conference, tagged, ‘Empowering Nigerian Brands: Leveraging Local Content for Global Success.’
She added that members’ engagement in the sessions, discussions and networking activities were phenomenal, thus reinforcing the idea of a collective dedication towards advancing the marketing profession in Nigeria.
“This massive response is a testament to the hard work of our organising team and the support from our sponsors and partners, who played instrumental roles in making this event a resounding success,” she stated.
This year’s conference, according to Biyang, also provided several key lessons that will help enhance future events, while stressing the importance of early and thorough planning.
“Our successful execution was a result of meticulous preparation and coordination among various stakeholders. It is noteworthy that fostering strong partnerships and collaborations with sponsors was also crucial,” she noted.
Biyang also saw the value of incorporating diverse perspectives from different industries, which enriched discussions and broadened the scope of their insights, as notable learning curves.
