A Nigerian Teenager, Miss Maryam Popoola has bagged a $60,400 full Fellowship at the University of Princeton, United States of America.
The Dowen College Alumnus was also offered admission on a scholarship basis into Harvard University in the United States of America, Yale University, Cambridge University in the United Kingdom and University College London (UCL), UK.
Maryam earned these scholarships wrapping up their Bachelor’s degree at Cambridge University in Architecture in 2021 where she produced and was the recipient of the award for the £500 prize for the best undergraduate dissertation in Architecture at the University of Cambridge, 2021.
The Title of her award-winning thesis was: Sacred Sites, Rituals and Film: An investigation into the interwoven evolution of Yoruba mythology across spatial, temporal, and human dimensions.
She did her one-year postgraduate internship in 2021/22 in the UK.
Maryam is presently rounding up her second year of her 3-year Master’s in Architecture programme on a full fellowship at Princeton University, USA.
Her full fellowship of $60,400 per session for three years covers her tuition, accommodation, and monthly stipend.
