Dr. Ayoola Oduntan, the newly appointed President of the Feed Industry Practitioners Association of Nigeria (FIPAN), has pledged to address the rising costs and challenges in the country’s poultry sector.
He made the pledge while speaking at his official inauguration ceremony at De’Rembradt Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
He said that the poultry industry in Nigeria has been hit hard by rising costs of raw material and illegal importation amongst other critical challenges.
He expressed concern over these issues while highlighting the need to diversify into ruminants and swine feed to boost the industry’s profitability.
The new FIPAN President assured that his leadership will focus on stabilizing feed prices and making animal protein more affordable for Nigerians, emphasizing the need for innovation and collaboration to achieve these goals.
While appreciating the outgoing president, Raymond Isiadinso for his leadership, jw pledged to build on the association’s work to strengthen the industry.
