Fabio Wardley stunned Frazer Clarke leaving his rival severely concussed as he won in under three minutes.
Wardley and Clarke renewed their epic rivalry in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday night after their maiden thrilling clash ended in a draw back in April.
The pair met in a British title duel on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol, and it delivered drama once again.
Wardley stunned the boxing world flying out of the traps and hammering Clarke with a right hand.
His rival was in a world of trouble and crumbled to the canvas after an onslaught of thunderous shots left him down in the ring corner.
The fight was sensationally stopped by the referee with Clarke having not recovered from the heavy damage.
It was a seriously impressive statement win for Wardley who went home with the British heavyweight title at the second time of asking.
Images showed after the fight that Clarke was left with a huge dent on his head.
His jaw was facing sideways, and the British heavyweight looked in a bad way during the KO.
Medics rushed the ring and attended to him, giving him the necessary treatment after the concussive blows.
Luckily he clambered to his feet and greeted Wardley after the final bell, to the delight of the boxing public.
Johnny Nelson remarked ringside: “I’ve never seen a knockout like that and a reaction like that on a fighter’s face.
“That was scary.”
The heavyweight encounter began at a slightly less frantic pace than their opening meeting, with both Wardley and Clarke trying to find their rhythm early on.
But all of a sudden, Wardley opened up and landed a thumping right hand through the guard which stunned Clarke who was out on his feet.
Then Clarke sensationally had no idea where he was and seriously concussed as Wardley detonated another huge series of shots.
‘Big Fraze’ was dropped down to the seat of his boxing shorts, and the referee was looking closely at the former Olympian.
He simply didn’t know what day it was and sensationally the fight was stopped within the opening period.
Wardley was delighted with the outcome and called for a journey to world glory after the rapid win.
“It is a big question. I want belts and want titles. I want ones that say world on them.
“The ones that are side-by-side with me, I will take them all on. We will have to be back here competing for them in Saudi Arabia.
“There is something in the air over here, maybe it’s the coffee. Any time His Excellency wants me back, and uncle Frank get me on the phone.”
