His Arsenal side have ended the top-flight season in the runner-up spot in the last two years to the Citizens, who have won a record four consecutive titles.

But despite only winning the Community Shield in the 2023/24 term, Arsenal enjoyed one of their best-ever Premier League campaigns.

Finishing with 89 points, only in the Invincibles season of 2003/04 have they collected more points [90], while they won a record 28 matches from their 38 fixtures.

And along with scoring another record high of 91 goals, they also failed to taste defeat against any of the ‘Big Six’ teams.

This saw Arteta crowned as the ‘Best Premier League Coach’ at the awards ceremony in Sardinia, Italy.

Speaking on stage after collecting his award, the Spaniard was asked about what is next for Arsenal.

To which he issued a rallying cry to the club’s supporters, as he said: “Win. Win, win and win. That’s what we want.

“We’ve been through a few years right now, we have a team that is full of enthusiasm and so hungry to win trophies.
