Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick as Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League with a comprehensive victory over Fulham.
Julian Alvarez opened the scoring for City, before Tim Ream equalised for Fulham minutes later.
Nathan Ake then made it 2-1 with a highly contentious goal, as Manuel Akanji was deemed to not be interfering with play following a video assistant referee check, a decision that left Fulham’s players and manager Marco Silva furious.
Haaland got in behind the Fulham defence to slot past goalkeeper Bernd Leno for City’s third, then scored from the penalty spot before getting on the end of a Sergio Gomez cut-back to complete his hat-trick.
