Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, will present the state’s 2025 Appropriation Bill to the State House of Assembly on Wednesday.
This follows the stakeholders consultative forum meeting held across the five zones of the state, where inputs from residents were gathered.
According to Makinde’s Special Adviser on Media, Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the presentation will take place at the House of Assembly complex, Secretariat, Agobi, Ibadan, the state capital. He said the governor is confident that the 2024 budget performance has reached 64 per cent by November.
Makinde has been proactive in engaging with stakeholders and residents to ensure that the budget reflects their needs and priorities. The stakeholders’ Consultative Forum meetings were held to gather inputs from various zones of the state, demonstrating the governor’s commitment to inclusive governance
