Jake Paul has boasted 24-hour security ever since Floyd Mayweather threatened to murder him, according to his brother Logan Paul.
Logan Paul faced the legendary boxer in an exhibition match that year, with his brother wreaking havoc in the build-up to the fight.
The ‘Problem Child’, who will face Mike Tyson later this year, stole Mayweather’s hat which led to a confrontation between the entourages of the two fighters.
It also led Mayweather to declare: “‘I’ll kill you motherf******”.
Clearly taking the threat seriously, Logan revealed on his appearance on In Depth with Graham Bensinger just how worried his younger brother was after the altercation.
“Jake has not been without a security guard since that moment,” Logan said.
“What the f*** do we know about Miami, bro? Floyd knows Miami, he’s been around the block.”
Logan then said of Mayweather: “He got goons who kill a man for $200.”
The YouTuber-turned-WWE star then said that he was angry with his brother for provoking Mayweather, saying: “He told me he was gonna do it, I didn’t think he was gonna do it.
“He did it, and I felt like Jake had put me in jeopardy.
“…If I break my hand, or get a concussion or get f***** up by Floyd’s guys a month before the biggest moment of my life, trying to save my little brother’s a**, that’s stupid.”
Logan’s fight with Mayweather didn’t have a result as it was an exhibition and turned down the chance of a rematch due to only receiving six weeks’ notice.
He also claimed that he was offered the chance to fight Tyson before his brother, Jake, but turned the fight down to allow his little brother the chance to see off one of boxing’s greats. This is something Jake has since denied.
