ExxonMobil Global Trading is where we trade oil, natural gas, and energy products safely and responsibly around the world. We leverage our expertise in analytics, logistics, origination, and knowledge of energy markets to maximize the value of our global assets and deliver industry-leading results. What you will do

<ul>
<li>Drive LNG fundamental model development and have a key role in forming the LNG market view</li>
<li>Highlight trade opportunities by connecting market fundamentals and insights, utilizing advanced analytics</li>
<li>Conduct / review analysis for LNG Trading including spot/swap & strip cargo analysis, project economics, contract valuation and optimization, and market studies; prepare and present analysis in a clear, understandable, impactful manner</li>
<li>Develop strong collaborative working relationships with global analytical / trading community in order to drive value creation</li>
<li>Produce ad-hoc analysis as requested by Traders / Trading Management 
</li>
</ul>

About you 
 
Skills and Qualifications

<ul>
<li>A STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Finance, or Economics Degree (or similar)</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years’ analytical experience in a trading setting, ideally with an LNG or gas market focus.</li>
<li>Be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills and inquisitive mind for trading</li>
<li>Be able to demonstrate initiative, tenacity and drive for continuous improvement</li>
<li>Experience in advanced analytical methods with the ability to apply to a wide range of scenarios across different businesses</li>
<li>Experience and knowledge of data modelling; proficiency with R, SQL, or Python desirable</li>
<li>Advantageous if you are fluent in one of the following languages: Mandarin, Japanese, Korean</li>
<li>Ability to work in multi-cultural environment</li>
<li>Able to travel occasionally</li>
