Bologna boss Vincenzo Italiano has warned his players about the Liverpool threat, insisting that the Reds know how to put the visitors in trouble.
Â
In their second match of the league stage in the Champions League, the Reds are set to play host to the Serie A outfit tonight.
Â
The 46-year-old manager knows how tough the match is going to be and expects his players to do better in everything they have done so far this season.
Â
Â
Each of the visiting players will have to give their best individual performance to take anything away from Anfield, Italiano insists.
Â
“We have to go strong and do better than everything we’ve done so farâ€, the Bologna manager said at a press conference.
Â
Â
“They know how to put you in trouble from every point of view, we have to play our game giving our best in terms of individual performance.â€
Â
Describing the league phase of the Champions League as a ‘mini-tournament’, the Bologna manager insisted: “I told the boys “let’s focus†because this is a mini tournament and there is a league table where we have to be able to get points.
Â
Â
“Liverpool beat Milan, they are going strong in the league, but we want to take our chancesâ€.
Â
Arne Slot’s team beat AC Milan 3-1 in their last match while Bologna were held to a goalless draw by Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk.
