Paris Saint-Germain are attempting to hijack Manchester United’s pursuit of Napoli’s Kim Min-jae.
Man United have long been interested in Min-jae, who has been one of the best defenders in Europe this season and part of the Napoli team that won the Serie A title.
The South Korea international was named Serie A’s best defender and featured in the league’s Team of the Season.
Man United manager Erik ten Hag is keen to sign a left-sided centre-back to replace Harry Maguire in the squad and reports suggest the Premier League giants are ready to trigger the 26-year-old’s £50million release clause.
However, they are now facing serious competition for Min-jae’s signature, with The Telegraph claiming that PSG are now the ‘frontrunners’ to sign the player.
Meanwhile, no official bids have been made by any interested party.
