Jurgen Klopp is on Instagram, and has used his first post to say an emotional farewell to Liverpool supporters.
But he’s also sent another message to Reds fans before he takes a break from football – keep in touch!
The beloved German coach will oversee his final game as Reds manager on Sunday against Wolves on the final day of the Premier League season – with live commentary on talkSPORT.
In his last-ever press conference on Friday, Klopp insisted it was ‘business as usual’ as he and his players prepared for the game, which is effectively a dead rubber with third place and a return to Champions League football already secure.
But the team and the fans will want to give their boss the victory and send-off he deserves after a glittering spell in charge at Anfield, with Klopp himself admitting ‘everything around the game will be completely different’.
The 56-year-old has already revealed his emotional week building up to his last game as Liverpool manager, which included crying at letters from supporters, enjoying a BBQ with his players and coaching staff and a night of celebration at Anfield in an in-house work do, complete with replicas of every trophy he has won in his nine years in the hotseat.

But he reserved a personal farewell to fans for the very first post on his new Instagram account, which bears the handle: ‘Kloppo’.
In the post, titled ‘Dear Liverpudlians’, the boss said: “We’re getting closer to the end.
“On October 8 2015 we met for the first time properly. I would call it a love affair. From the first day it was an absolutely incredible, incredible time. I enjoyed it so much.
“I want to thank you so much for all the support you gave us over the years, for all the power you gave us.
“I wondered always that it feels like we write a story together and that’s how it feels today.
“It’s a good book! And if we read it in the future we will have a smile on our faces!
“Leaving this incredible place is hard but I want to stay in contact with you.
“And even when I’m not a social media guy, people told me social media helps with that, so here we go – see you!”
The video montage includes sections from his famous ‘Normal One’ speech as he was welcomed as Liverpool manager nine years ago, plus clips of his celebrations over the years and his iconic post-match fist pumps to the Anfield faithful.
He’s largely managed to keep his emotions in check in front of the press so far, but we’re bound to see to Kloppo tears on Sunday afternoon as he finally says goodbye.
Better stock up on tissues now, Reds fans!
