Liverpool may receive a welcome helping hand from Man United in the transfer market if they move Jadon Sancho to one particular club before the deadline this week
Manchester United moving on Jadon Sancho could impact Liverpool in the transfer market before Friday’s deadline. The two clubs then meet less than 48 hours in the Premier League, and the player United can help the Reds sign could debut at Old Trafford.
The latest saga surrounding Sancho dates back to last September as despite a return to Borussia Dortmund in January, his future is still not sorted. Several clubs are reputedly interested in the former England international, including Chelsea.
While that would seemingly see Sancho playing at Anfield after the October international break, it is another move overseas that they will be keeping an eye on. Barcelona are also linked, but talks will take place with Juventus, according to our sister title the Manchester Evening News.

On the surface, that would not affect the Reds, but journalist Fabrizio Romano claims they have today made contact for current Juve winger Federico Chiesa. Liverpool are said to be considering a move for the Italy international after making an initial approach.

The 26-year-old is said to be a potential option for the club, which would be another opportunistic move as Juventus are openly looking to offload Chiesa with his contract expiring at the end of this season. They may, though, require a helping hand from United.
Sancho would be a like-for-like replacement as a left winger, and it was widely reported in Italy over the weekend that the two deals are linked. Both seemingly need to happen around the same time financially for the Italian club.
But Barcelona have reputedly reached a €12million (£10.16m) agreement with the Turin team after already agreeing personal terms with the player. However, with the issues the Catalan clubs are having registering new signing Dani Olmo and others, the Reds may offer an attractive alternative as Chiesa waits for Barcelona to balance the books before the deadline.
