Billionaire businessman Obinna Iyiegbu, better known as Obi Cubana, has described the traumatic incident that flipped his life upside down when his wife, Ebele, was diagnosed with a strange disease soon after giving birth to their son.

Obi made the disclosure during an interview with host Chude Jideonwo.

According to him, what should have been a joyful occasion rapidly turned into a nightmare when the doctors at the South African hospital told him that Ebele would never walk again and that her days of birthing were gone.

For Obi, this news was like a sledgehammer to the chest, leaving him completely destabilised and emotionally broken. That night, he said that the weight of his misery had moved him to tears, and his mind was racing with dread and doubt.

Despite the devastating grief, Obi Cubana told how Ebele shown unwavering resilience, leaving him in admiration.

The billionaire said that his wife was unconcerned about the dismal prognosis, comforted him with unyielding positivism, and advised him to put aside his concerns about the doctor’s findings and believe in God.

He went on to say that just when he believed things couldn’t get much worse, some of his so-called friends decided to spread filthy, disgusting rumours about him sacrificing his wife for money ritual. According to him, this callous betrayal wounded his heart and caused him much sadness.
