Lance Stroll didn’t hold back in discussions with an Aston Martin engineer following his race-ending crash.
The Canadian star’s outing at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix came to a premature end after his clipped a corner on the sixth lap.
As a result, Formula 1 star Stroll lost control of of his car and ended up crashing into the barrier in emphatic fashion.
The incident happened on turn 22 – the same turn where he ran into trouble during practice.
The 25-year-old – son of team part-owner Lawrence Stroll – immediately confirmed that he was okay, much to the relief of fans everywhere… and his dad.
The conversation then continued as he explained what happened to the Aston Martin pit wall team, saying: “Hit the wall”.
An Aston Martin engineer then asked him, “Can you bring it back?”
To which Stroll bluntly replied: “No… I’m in the f****** wall.”
That response attracted a huge reaction on social media, with fans in hysterics at the no-nonsense nature of Stroll’s reply.
One fan wrote: “That radio from Stroll made my dad, a Stroll fan, LMAO.”
A second wrote: “All-Time F1 Radio Moment.”
“Stroll radio I laughed so hard,” said a third, while another added: “Lance Stroll is a comedian, that radio was hilarious.”
Due to Stroll’s crash, a safety car was promptly called as many of the remaining competitors made their way to the pits in order to capitalise with an early tyre change.
