The countdown to World Cup 2022 has begun. The clock is ticking down on the opening match, almost 12 years since Qatar was awarded hosting rights for football’s showpiece tournament.

On November 20, the first World Cup to be held in the Arab world will kick off with the host nation playing Ecuador.

There are 32 teams in 8 groups with 4 teams in a group that will battle for the world cup as indicated below:

• Group A: Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, Netherlands
• Group B: England, Iran, USA, Wales
• Group C: Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Poland
• Group D: France, Australia, Denmark, Tunisia
• Group E: Spain, Costa Rica, Germany, Japan
• Group F: Belgium, Canada, Morocco, Croatia
• Group G: Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, Cameroon
• Group H: Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, South Korea

Out of all these teams only one will be the winner and go back home with the world cup.

I am giving away the price of N20,000 (Twenty thousand naira only) each for the first 5 persons on this forum who can predict correctly the winner of this world cup tournament.
