Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford recently intervened when Alisha Lehmann, an Aston Villa female team star and “world’s sexiest footballer,” was being assaulted by a group of men during a night out at the Chinawhite club in Manchester.
According to The Sun, Rashford noticed Lehmann being mobbed and quickly came to her rescue. He cleared a table in the VIP section and invited her and her friends to join him, allowing her to escape the unwanted attention.
A source from the club told The Sun that “they exchanged a few words and she thanked him then they carried on partying with their separate sets of friends. She thought he was a gent.”
Lehmann is considered one of the world’s sexiest footballers, with over 13 million Instagram followers.
