Why do ladies love long eyelashes?

I noticed most ladies love to make artificial eyelashes to make the natural one they have longer, and in most cases after putting on ths long ones they are not beautiful than their natural one God has given them. I asked a lady in my office why they love it long and she said it makes them beautiful, i don't agree with her because just as i have said, some of them end up ugly after using it. Are you a lady? Do you love long eye lashes? Why?

Some men and women find it attractive and that is why they keep doing it. Although I am NOT among those that find it attractive. Just like some women do boobs enlargement because they feel men like it but I find it disgusting. Our likes and interests varies so if you don't like a particular thing, it doesn't mean every other person will dislike it too.
