Why Do Humans Suffer?

To properly answer this question, one need to delve into the scripture. The Bible at Revelation 12:12 says: ..Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time. Because the devil is the one controlling the affairs of the world (1John5:19), that is why humans have been suffering and its going to continue until God take the rulership from Satan and restore the earth back to paradise He purposed it to be from the beginning. Satan is making use of The government and bad people on earth to inflict suffering on human being apart from the fact that anything can happen due to time and unforeseen events like natural disasters

Actually if you study this world carefully, you will realise that we were not created to suffer. Most of the sufferings we undergo are the consequences of our actions, which may be direct or indirect( caused by others). If only we can all be kind and rational in our dealings with one another, this world will be a very peaceful place with little or no suffering. Although there are natural disasters but they don't happen often and some are even caused by human activities. See the issue of global warming for example. Earthquakes is another one. There are some studies linking human activities such as drilling and deep earth excavations to earthquakes. These activities weakens the foundations of the earth.  See the suffering that we are currently experiencing in Nigeria, will you blame nature for it? So In summary, we are the cause of our problems.
