Is Lagos Dangerous for Westerners to Visit?
lofatech asked 1 year ago I have friends that have lived abroad for almost 30 years, they want to visit Nigeria especially Lagos but they are being very careful because of what they have been hearing about Lagos being one of the worst city to live. Can you advise, is Lagos dangerous for westerners to visit?

ProfT Staff answered 1 year ago If they are coming for vacation/brief stay then they have nothing to fear. Lagos is a relatively peaceful state devoid of religious crisis and terrorism. Only occasional disturbance from Agberos which depends on the part of Lagos you are living. Settling down in Lagos is what I won't advice them to do because of the stressful and overcrowded nature of the place.
