Ewenla Fetes Muslims At Lagos Ramadan Lecture


Adedas and Company Global Services held its annual Ramadan lecture where many Muslims faithful were given packs of food.

Speaking at the event at the Abule Egba Awori area of Lagos State on Wednesday, Prince Adedipe Dauda Ewenla, the Chief Executive of the company, said that he organizes the annual event as part of his contribution to the growth of Islam and and to broaden information about Islam. He stated that he does this by bringing renowned Muslim scholars to give lectures to the people.

The theme of this year’s lecture was “Way out for the world economy” and it was delivered by Sheikh Ajadi Sanusi popularly known as Ami Olohun.

Ewenla charged Nigerian youths to eschew crime, adding that crime leads to a said life and failure.

According to him, “This goes beyond politics. It is what we love doing; I have been doing and will continue doing this. It is meant to assist our Muslim families in my constituency to get through the period of Ramadan.”

According to him, this twelfth annual Ramadan lecture is for Muslim faithful to gathered at Adedas Group and company to listen to the word of Almighty God and the holy Quran.

“It has helped many to believe in what the Ouran preaches and focus on the word that change them positively.

“Also Holy Quran teaches us to be royal, conscious of who we are and what we do at this point in time in midst of challenges”.

Ewenla noted that many people have repented from their sins after coming for the annual lecture through the messages of the guest lecturers who give Allah’s message that have impacted the lives of the youths.

“This youth you see here today made this programme a memorable event, they are the tomorrow’s leaders, their commitment and dedication are highly appreciated since this last 12 years.

He disclosed that over 2,000 Muslims in the Abule Egba area got packs of food.

Delivering the Ramadan lecture, Sheikh Sanusi charged young Nigerians to work hard, he told them not to engage in because it has negative spiritual consequences.

Present at the event were a representative of Iba Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kankaafo of Yorubaland, royal fathers and religious leaders from across Lagos State.
