Nigerian singer Jaywon Juwonlo has paid a visit to the graveside of the late legendary singer Sound Sultan.
Taking to his social media pages, he shared photos of him at the singer’s graveside as he described him as a mentor who was filled with wisdom and guidance and was an inspiration to many. Jaywon stated that though Sultan is gone, he is forever a part of them.
“At the resting place of a mentor, where wisdom, guidance, and inspiration now lay in eternal peace. Gone, but forever a part of us.

Refreshing your memory, Sound Sultan passed away on July 11, 2021, after battling ‘Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma,’ ‘Cancer of the throat.’
Before his death, Sound Sultan underwent chemotherapy in a hospital in the United States of America.
In January, legendary singer, 2baba wrote a note to him as he recounted life-changing events in the industry to him. The legendary singer told him that their dream and wish for Nigerian and African music had come to pass and now he was an upcoming artiste, but he wouldn’t give up easily for the new cats. He added that there were lots of stories to tell him.
2baba, was one of the few who paid a visit to his grave, while he was in America bonding with his 3 kids from Babymama, Pero Adeniyi. He paid respect to him alongside Emma Ugolee, Frankie J, and others.
Marking his first anniversary in 2022, 2baba admitted how badly he missed him, as he took to social media to pay tribute to him.
In February of 2023, 2baba penned a note to him, admitting to missing the singer, and vowing to keep celebrating him till he joins him.
