Manchester United are set to offload as many as 15 players this summer as part of a brutal summer shake-up at Old Trafford.
This is following the club’s recent poor performances that left manager Erik ten Hag furious, especially their Europa League elimination against Sevilla, who handed them a 3-0 defeat in Spain and 5-2 on aggregate.
The Daily Telegraph reports that the Dutchman has already reached decisions on a number of players to be shown the exit door, with the performances against Sevilla serving to harden his stance.
They will also raise money to sign new players from the sales of the unwanted senior team players as they face tighter financial restrictions.
The players now facing being offloaded include Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial.
Others are Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Fred, Donny van de Beek, Brandon Williams, Anthony Elanga, Eric Bailly, Alex Telles, Dean Henderson, Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe.
Scott McTominay, according to the report, is viewed as a valuable squad at Old Trafford but might likely cash out on the midfielder since Newcastle United are willing to meet their demand.
There is also uncertainty around the future of David de Gea, who has also entered the final months of his contract at the club.
Yeah, those players have to go. But Bissaka should still be given a chance.it is very difficult to beat him one on one, his only weakness is that he is very bad at passing and crossing the ball.
