Erling Haaland has been named Premier League Player of the Month for August.
The Manchester City striker scored seven goals last month.
That is a record return in the league for the first three games of a season.
Haaland’s goals have shot City up to the top of the table with nine points – a perfect start to the campaign.
Meanwhile, Brighton’s Fabian Hurzeler – the Premier League’s youngest-ever permanent boss – has claimed the prize for manager of the month in August.
The 31-year-old oversaw an unbeaten start to the season for Brighton, claiming wins over Everton and Manchester United, while drawing at Arsenal.
