I have noticed that in most cases engineering graduates in Nigeria are jobless after graduating from school. Even many of them are posted to teach in secondary schools during their NYSC programs. This is not the situation with Medical and law graduates. They don’t send graduate of medicine to teach biology or graduates of law to teach government in secondary schools. So, why should graduates of Engineering be posted to be teaching physics, maths in secondary schools and even after NYSC that is the job most of them end up doing.
