Nollywood actress Eve Esin took to Instagram to express her grievances over the attitude of Nigerians online towards Junior Pope’s death.
In a brief but concise post, Eve Esin wrote;
“If you know how quickly people forget the dead, you will stop living to impress people..”
To further elaborate her point, Eve Esin added;
“Its your life, Do you! Everyone will be alright. May we not become victims for content creation by the same people we “feel” are our people. Empathy and sympathy no longer exist Divine protection and grace we pray thee oh God”
Eve Esin was basically addressing people who are using Junior Pope’s death to trend online. She seemed really saddened about the fact that her colleague’s death was being used as a means to create content.

Nollywood producer Stanley Nwoke has also spoken about Junior Pope’s death several times, often narrating how he was part of the people that took the late actor to a native doctor, and then to the hospital.
Very Dark Man also spoke about singeing similar a while ago. He stated that this generation of Nigerians were more concerned with broadcasting news, instead of helping people in need.
On the night of Junior Pope’s death, a lot of videos captured from different angles circulated the internet. It captured Junior Pope being taken out of the river, and even up to the point where there was a mammoth crowd waiting outside the hospital.
The first analysis of Junior Pope’s death was that he died, and then later on, it was announced that he gave up the ghost in the hospital, after battling for his life for a while.
