Double celebrations for veteran actress, Joke Muyiwa as she bags a PhD from University of Ibadan and a new promotion
Nollywood veteran actress Joke Muyiwa is ending this year on a high note as she bags a PhD in Theatre Arts.
According to reports, the veteran actress has gotten a PhD in Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan.
Taking to her Instagram page to confirm the news, Joke further revealed that she has been promoted to the position of Chief Arts Fellow. She stated that her promotion to a professional cadre was announced a day back and she is grateful to God for the new phase.
“My promotion to the position of Chief Arts Fellow, a Professorial cadre was announced today, Lord I say THANK YOU”.

The veteran actress will add to the list of celebrities bagging a degree this year.
Just a few weeks back, her junior colleague, Lola Magret had bagged a degree. The Yoruba actress shared a photo of her in her graduation gown as she stated that grace found her.
In July, actor Akeem Adeyemi had earned a Master’s Degree in International Business from the United Kingdom. Akeem Adeyemi shared the delightful news on his Instagram page with cheering words to mark the new milestone in his career.
In May, gospel singer Lanre Teriba had bagged his first degree. Taking to his Instagram page, the musician and entertainer revealed that he graduated from Boston University, Massachusetts, USA. Though he didn’t disclose his course of study, he expressed gratitude to his creator as he stated that finally he made it.
