We are looking for a Director of Production & Supply Chain for our client, a large and fast-growing manufacturer of consumer products, who will oversee management of all areas of Production, Supply Chain & Quality Management, securing that the Supply chain is well planned & managed, that Quality Management is living up to all the company’s agreed on standards and that production is producing in the most optimal way, at the lowest costs and living up to all quality standards.
The Dir. P&SC will also secure a well-managed / informed & motivated department that can follow & work with all the company standards & targets, and report directly to the COO while coordinating with all Heads of departments, the HQ in Europe, the Production head, along with Domestic & International suppliers.
The Dir. P&SC will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the following value chain activities:
• Production of all products produced at the company
• Supply chain management & team
• Quality management & team
• Supervising & Controlling 3 party production sites
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
For Production:
- Develops the production plan and establishes procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established government, customer, and company quality standards

For Supply chain:
- Lead and manage the Supply chain team to make sure that they always have the right raw material at the right time and cost, to be able to fulfil the demand from all the company’s markets
- Secure that we have an optimized & well-planned production planning that is shared & understood by all key stakeholders in good time
- Secure that we have a very strong relationship & customer service to all the company’s export markets, in terms of information, timely delivery and keeping all our service KPI’s

For Quality Management:
- Lead and manage the QM team to make sure that they always deliver the right quality, to be able to fulfil the demand from all the company’s markets without compromising on the employee health and safety
- Ensuring all products are safe, legal and of the required quality, and all food safety requirements are met throughout the manufacturing process and are compliant to all relevant legislation
- Managing the liaison with all governmental, regulatory and industry bodies

We are looking for an aspiring leader who has experience and/or skills to manage a cross-functional, cross-organizational entity. With a large ease and interest both in working with numbers/KPI’s and in building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Should possess a degree in Production and/or Food Education (Dairy technician, Food technician) or a similar degree
- Should demonstrate minimum of 10 years of management experience from food manufacturing business, preferably dairy or beverage
- Should have 5 years of management experience of leading through at least 2 levels with min. 30 employees in the area of responsibility
- In addition to experience in Production, the ideal candidate should also have an experience/ exposure to Supply Chain and Quality Management
- Should be able to communicate well in English and with all levels of the organization
