Nigerian music producer, Samklef has clarified a viral tweet Davido made on Thursday, which hinted at him buying a new private jet.
Kemi Filani reported that Davido had started the new month on a high note as he acquired another private jet, a Bombardier 7500 tear rubber which is worth between $68 million to $78 million.
The news left many talking, while some congratulated him over his latest possession, others expressed disbelief, calling him a clout chaser.
Clearing the air, Samklef made it known that Davido’s billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke was the one who bought a jet and not the singer. He further questioned where people’s fathers were when Davido’s father was making money as he noted how his own father died in 1996 when he was just 11.
“Congratulations to Davido as his dad don buy another private jet! Where una papa Dey when davido papa Dey make money?
My own papa don die since 1996 I was 11 just in case una wan ask me back the question”.
Recall that last year, Samklef and Davido fell out after the singer accused him of leaking photos of his wife, Chioma, and their twins, which Samklef denied.
Angered by Davido’s action, Samklef had taken several shots at Davido, over accusations of him owing people, referring to Davido as “owe owe 1,” a play on Davido’s signature “001”, indirectly labeling him as a beggar and advised him to look up to his rival, Wizkid.
Samklef even went as low as comparing the music star to Portable’s former signee, Yung Dee, and gave him further suggestions.
Surprisingly, he appeared to have ended his feud with Davido, as he called on him to start making amends and apologize to those he’s allegedly wronged. Samklef pointed out that Davido had once publicly insulted his uncle, Dele Momodo, because of a financial dispute. He also accused Davido of accepting money from the NFF chairman while continuing to taunt and belittle the eldërly man and more.
