Football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to leave Saudi Arabia soon.
According to reports in Europe, president of his former club, Real Madrid, Florentino Perez has offered him an ambassadorial role at the club.
El Nacional reports that the 38-year-old Portugal international won’t last much longer in Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo moved to the Saudi Arabia Professional League, club Al Nassr in January after falling out with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
Before joining the Saudi side, Ronaldo tried his luck at sealing a return to Real Madrid.
The former Manchester United and Juventus man scored 450 goals and provided 131 assists in 438 games during his time at the Bernabeu.
Nevertheless, Perez had blocked the player’s potential return to the Bernabeu. However, he has now been offered a return to Los Merengues but not in a playing role.
The reports said that Perez wants Ronaldo to play a role as a club ambassador or to be part of their sports organisation chart.
Nice retirement plan for him. Dude is old and needs to rest.
