<p>With a population of more than 118,000, Beaumont ,Texas, is located in the Gulf Coast region of the United States, on the Neches River, about 85 miles east of Houston, the nation's fourth largest city. Beaumont has been a home to the oil industry from the days of the Spindletop oil boom until today, and along with nearby Port Arthur and Orange, is part of the Golden Triangle industrial area on the Texas Gulf Coast. Built along the banks of the Neches River in 1903, the original ExxonMobil Beaumont refining facilities have grown into an integrated petrochemical complex on 2,700 acres and have contributed to the economic and social landscape of southeast Texas. In fact, 1 in 7 jobs in Jefferson County are linked to ExxonMobil, making it an integral part of the community. With a workforce of more than 5,500, the Beaumont complex includes a refinery, chemical plant, polyethylene plant and lubricant blending and packaging plant. The complex is part of ExxonMobil’s current building and expansion plans for the U.S. Gulf Coast.</p>

<p>This Position fills a key dual role providing local expertise in the support of both Foxboro and Honeywell distributed Control Systems including maintenance, day to day troubleshooting, and upgrades of DCS systems. Position will also provide local support to operations, projects, third party vendor contractors and end users. Candidate must have a fluid understanding of Honeywell TDC/Experion and/or Foxboro IA/EVO series hardware and software applications and how these systems affect daily operations. </p>

<li>Provide day to day troubleshooting and support for local and business level applications used at the site. Respond to system outages in a timely manner. Execute ongoing systems checks, maintenance activities, and data backups.</li>
<li>Assist System engineers with upgrades, enhancements, or initiatives involving equipment and/or systems relating to the industrial control system environment.</li>
<li>Provide documentation/reference material – Maintain cabinet drawings and reference documentation for all DCS systems. Steward all aspects of additions, changes, upgrades, decommissions, or replacements.</li>
<li>Oversee any third parties providing local or remote support for site specific applications. </li>
<li>Provide expertise for process and execution (keystroke level) related questions for locally used applications.</li>
<li>Maintain an understanding of the security and controls documents and the relationship to Process Control Systems. Ensure that monthly and quarterly reports are recorded and documented.</li>
<li>Install/upgrade/troubleshoot: window servers, workstations, application, TCP/IP, and Cisco network equipment.</li>
<li>Support/troubleshoot/configure/administer Windows Active Directory Domain services and infrastructure. </li>
<li>Support 24 x 7 x 365 operations. The successful candidate must be available for 24/7 on-call, after-hours and weekend support<br>

<li>Ability to troubleshoot Honeywell TDC 2000/3000/Experion and/or Foxboro IA/EVO series 100/200 Hardware and Software.</li>
<li>Process control knowledge and/or experience including: I/O instrumentation and continuous control systems (DCS).</li>
<li>Windows Client Server and Networking skills required.</li>
<li>Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to be flexible, manage multiple priorities, and work well within a team environment.<br>
