<li>Develop, maintain portfolio of Chemical products(CP) category : Base oil, Additives, 3P Spec buy Finished lubes </li>
<li>Drive value, efficiency and market advantage, while ensuring operational integrity</li>
<li>Responsible for establishing strategic priorities for category, evaluating and sourcing suppliers (new / existing) & driving Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)</li>
<li>Develop Total System Cost based strategies for effective negotiation </li>
<li>Prepare Procurement Plans and Awards for review and approval</li>
<li>Supplier Relationship Management</li>
<li>Contract Administration/Management activities</li>
<li>Optimizing supplier base and drive spend through preferred vendors and contracts</li>
<li>Bring industry expertise in supporting category that drives savings and Business transformation</li>
<li>Project start up related activities: Develop, maintain new supplier / contracts required for start-up of New India lube blending plant </li>

<li>Execute bids and conduct techno-commercial negotiations</li>
<li>Provide portfolio specific market intelligence to peers and Business Lines</li>
<li>Steward tactical business relationship for key portfolio activities</li>
<li>Supplier Relationship Management activities </li>
<li>Ensure transactional efficiency of agreements (SAP friendly)</li>
<li>Resolve invoice and purchase order related recycle by identifying and eliminating root causes</li>

<p><b>Skills and Qualifications</b></p>

<li>Bachelor of Engineering degree (Chemical preferable) or equivalent with minimum 6.5CGPA</li>
<li>MBA in marketing /Material management / Supply chain would be added benefit.</li>
<li>At least 4 years’ experience in responsible roles in Procurement in Lubricants/ Petrochemicals Industry</li>
<li>Procurement process expertise</li>
<li>Analytical skills / knowledge of “Total System Cost” principles</li>
<li>Procurement experience related to Lubes Value Chain is preferable</li>
<li>Procurement experience related to Lube blending plant start-up </li>
<li>Need good analytical as well as tactical skills</li>
<li>General industry and global market knowledge</li>
<li>Effective negotiation, advocacy and influencing skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of PtP (procure to pay) process including ERP systems</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work across different cultures and organizations</li>
