UFC star Conor McGregor could bank himself a cool £3.2million should Spain beat England in the Euro 2024 final.
The Irishman is backing Luis de la Fuente’s men to win a fourth European Championship crown and extend the Three Lions’ 58-year trophy drought in Sunday’s clash – live on talkSPORT.
Prior to the start of Euro 2024, the Notorious lumped a six-figure sum on Spain to win the tournament, which would earn him a crisp £1m.
And on Saturday, McGregor announced he had placed a separate £86,000 bet on Spain to win 3-1 in Berlin.
Taking to X, the two-weight world champion stated the long-shot bet was offering up 25/1 odds, which if it comes off, would see him pocket £2.2m.
And combining the two bets, that would see him collect a crisp £3.2m – on his 36th birthday.
He posted on social media: “Lovely jubbly €3.7m [£3.2m] all in tomorrow for my birthday!
“THE RICH GET RICHER, BE EXCITED!”
McGregor has made numerous football bets this summer – which included tipping Cristiano Ronaldo to win the Golden Boot in Germany.
But that prediction didn’t pay out with the 39-year-old failing to find the back of the net in what was his sixth Euros.
Though he could still come up trumps with his prediction of the Copa America.
McGregor has backed Lionel Messi to inspire Argentina to a third consecutive major tournament.
Placing another six-figure bet, he would once again take home over £1m.
Argentine face Colombia in the final this weekend, where they are the heavy favourites to retain their Copa America title.
Meanwhile McGregor earned £1.2m earlier this month after he successfully tipped former foe Nate Diaz to beat Jorge Masvidal in their boxing bout.
