Tottenham Hotspur will face Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semi-final, after the draw was conducted on Thursday night.
Ange Postecoglou’s side beat Manchester United 4-3 to book their place in the final four.
They will now host the Reds in the first leg, before playing in the second leg at Anfield.
On the other side of the draw, Arsenal will play Newcastle United.
The first leg will be played at the Emirates, before the Magpies host the second leg.
The first legs will be played on the week of January 6, with the second legs starting February 3.
Defending champions Liverpool are also leading the Premier League by two points over Chelsea and have a game in hand.
“We have to defend the trophy because the club won it last season, so we want to compete in every league and this is one of them, so we’re happy that we reached the semifinal,” said Slot after Liverpool’s win on Wednesday.
