This is a question i have asked many people and in most cases i have got answers that baffles me. Some said to be rich you have to do rituals but i asked, how many ritualists are among the richest people in Nigeria? How many people will you kill to make a billion Naira? Some said to be rich in Nigeria you have to be corrupt and that in any profession or business you do if you are not corrupt the chance of being rich is very very low. If you are into business, you must inflate the price of your products to make more money especially if you do business with government, you get awarded contracts without execution or execute below the standard you quoted.
Whatever area of endeavour you find yourself, corruption, lies and deceits must be put into play if you want to be rich because even if you are not to corrupt, the people you meet that you will depend on for one thing or the other are corrupt individuals which will not allow you to achieve any success unless you agree to run things in their way. I will like to seek public opinion on this issue, i want to be rich but i don’t want to be corrupted neither corrupt others, then the question is, Can i be rich in Nigeria without corruption?
Impossibility in Nigeria of today where corruption is in churches, mosques and everywhere. It was possible in the past no more in today’s naija.
hmnn! this is a big question but with my personal experience, one can make money to a limited extent in Nigeria without corruption but to be rich without corruption is another thing entirely because Naija and corruption are like 5 and 6.
I am not sure because there is a saying that behind every million(in Naija), there is a sin, although a million has lost value in today’s economy but will a person make 100 million without a sin in Naija? Unless you want to tell us that sin is not corruption.
