<li>Buying Team: Provides support to business lines by releasing purchase orders to vendors and troubleshooting when necessary for any PtP issues (Purchase to Pay). </li>

<li>Work with Contractors, Payables and Projects Accountants to troubleshoot when issues arise</li>
<li>Processes a queue of requisitions and converts to purchase orders on a daily basis</li>
<li>Collects written proposals from vendors as needed</li>
<li>Conducts simple negotiations of pricing.</li>
<li> Addresses invoice discrepancies from the purchase order or the goods receipt and approves invoice payment for any additional freight costs not accounted for on purchase order</li>
<li> Liaises with the strategic buyer regarding project or turnaround purchases and potential bundles</li>
<li>Provides support to ensure timely invoice payment.</li>
<li> Handles any PO maintenance for orders processed (e.g. update PO text, delivery date, pricing, quantity, etc.)<br>

<p><b>Preferred Qualifications/ Experience </b></p>

<li>Desirable to have Bachelor’s degree in law, business, or related area of study (or enrolled in a program within 2 years of graduation)</li>
<li>Able to accurately read, draft and understand basic legal terms</li>
<li>A minimum of 3 years’ experience in legal support, as a contract administrator, secretary, or similar role</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Word with a focus on drafting and editing legal documents </li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint with a focus on document management </li>
<li>Ability to quickly learn new software and processes </li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong command of legal English terminology </li>
